1. Shashank Vyas (Jagya) and Anjum Farooqi (Gauri)
They have been playing husband and wife in Balika Vadhu for more than a year now, so it is a given that they share a friendly bond. But Shashank and Anjum are not just co-stars, but great off screen buddies too. They can be seen hanging out together on sets and at events. As long as the chemistry shows on screen, it is a thumbs up for this friendly pair!
2.Pratyusha Banerjee (Anandi) and Smita Bansal (Sumitra)
Smita Bansal is a veteran actress with a decade of acting experience, while Balika Vadhu is Pratyusha's debut show. Inspite of this gap, and the fact that they play saas and bahu on screen, Pratyusha and Smita have struck up a warm friendship. They can be seen in each others' company on sets and are known to meet even when they are not shooting. We love the way they have extended their on screen relationship to real life.
3. Smita Bansal (Sumitra) and Anup Soni (Bhairon)
It is said that the glamour industry brings fickle friends, but this is one bond that has stood the test of time. Smita and her on-screen husband, Anoop have been friends for nearly a decade, since the time they were fresh faces in the industry. And these off screen friends play an endearing couple in Balika Vadhu. With the number of friendships in Colors' flagship show, they should be given a Congeniality Award!
4. Avika Gor (Roli) and Manish Raisinghani (Siddhant)
Can we see some raised eyebrows at this friendship? Well, we don't blame you. Avika is a 15 year old actress and Manish stands much older at 33. But the friendship between this on screen couple has to be seen to be believed. Not only do they have a playful relationship on sets, they are also study buddies. Avika studies her school books and Manish gives her company with his computer studies. Who says age matters in friendship?
5. Kunal Karan Kapoor (Mohan) and Ashnoor (Nanhi)
Speaking of hatke friendships, one pair that can't be missed is Kunal, who plays Mohan in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuchh Kaha, and Nanhi, who is now his daughter on the show. This pair keeps everyone entertained with their friendly banter, and never miss a chance to pull each other's leg. Kunal and Dushyant (Guru) are also the best of buddies, while Ashnoor and Akanksha (Megha) too, are very close. Aisi dosti ko nazar na lage, is all we'll say!
6. Roshani Shetty (Sajni) and Dipti Dhyani (Kusum)
Sisters in law are not expected to be on good terms, but Roshani and Dipti are good friends on the set. They are found in each others' make up rooms between takes, chatting and having a good time. Not just that, Roshani calls Dipti 'Jiji' in real life too. Sometimes, Roshani's friends from her previous shows join the fun, and it makes for merry company for sure.
9. Karan Goddwani (Ranveer) and Rajesh Balwani (Bhanu Mama)
This pair of mischief mongers is always plotting against Aditi in Chhal, but once the shot is cut, these actors have other things on their mind. Karan and Rajesh are together on the sets of this thriller, with their sense of humour being a common thread between them. And they don't need anything more than a place to sit to start talking and joking till the shot is ready. This is one ideal 'mama-bhanja' jodi, both on screen and off it.
7. Ayub Khan (Jogi) and Pragati Mehra (Divya)
On screen, they have been witness to their daughter's games and plots, but in real life, Ayub Khan and Pragati Mehra have seen happy times. They are part of the same social circle outside their shoots and can be seen socializing with their respective families at parties. And with the twisted track of Uttaran. we're sure that they have loads to talk about.
8. Deepika Samson (Simar) and Shoaib Ibrahim (Prem)
Their romance in Sasural Simar Ka elicits sighs and day dreams. And the credit for this goes to their friendship off screen. Deepika (Simar) and Shoaib (Prem) are inseparable on the set. This duo, along with Abhishek Sharma (Sankalp) spend all their free time together, talking, eating and pulling pranks on their co-stars. After all, a family that laughs together stays together.
10. Aarti Singh (Seema) and Keerti Nagpure (Siddhi)
Sisters in law on screen, and friends in real life- Aarti and Keerti have it all figured out. On sets, they have lunch together and prefer waiting together instead of going back to their make up rooms. In fact, the entire cast of Parichay is one big happy family, with everyone calling each other by their screen names and sharing their food with each other. Awww!
