Dadisa says that she wants to celebrate Shiv's birthday but others don't agree with the idea. She insists that she doesn't want Shiv to be alone on his birthday as he lives away from family and makes everybody agree to it.
Jagya is super excited about his first day at work and is doing puja. Gauri tells him that how some time back he wouldn't even get up on time and now he's already ready to go before her.
Once Jagya gets dressed Gauri asks him from where did he get new clothes? Jagya tells her to relax and he thinks it's important to dress well as now he is also a Doctor and he wants to match up to her status.
Anandi is in her class and she asks her students to write an essay. Meanwhile Gulli informs her that Jyoti hasn't been coming to school since a few days. Anandi decides to go to Jyoti's place to see what's the matter.
Jagya reaches the hospital and meets the dean and is introduced to the doctor who he will be assisting.
Jagya is shocked to see that to whom he will be reporting is none other than his wife Gauri who is equally perplexed. The dean asks Gauri to show Jagya around and to inform him about his duties. Jagya is about to say that they are actually husband and wife but Gauri stops him.
She requests Jagya to not do anything and shouldn't let the opportunity to work be ruined because of personal problems.
Jagya says that he can't be Gauri's junior and will immediately talk to HR about transfer but Gauri stops him and asks him to adjust for a month or so and ask for transfer later.
Anandi goes to Jyoti's house and it looks like there's a wedding in preparation. Jyoti's father tries to cover up and says that his brother's daughter is getting married.
When Anandi enquires about Jyoti her parents tell her that she's very sick and hence has been missing school. Anandi asks if she can see her and Jyoti's parents try to avoid but she insists and they reluctantly agree.
When Anandi goes in the room to see Jyoti she finds the fan on full speed. She scolds Jyoti's parents and asks Jyoti how she is feeling now.
Jyoti tries a lot ot talk to Anandi but her parents keep glaring at her to keep her mouth shut. Anandi then finds that Jyoti has put henna in her hands and thinks something is wrong.
There Gauri introduces Jagya to other doctors and calls him her assistant. Jagya feels bad about it and goes into flashback when he had similarly called Anandi his "friend from Jaitsar rather than his wife which makes him realise how Anandi must have felt then.
