Himesh Reshammiya Bio

Son of veteran Gujarati music director Vipin Reshammiya and Madhu Reshammiya, Himesh started his music career as music director for the film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. He rose to fame with the hit music of 'Tere Naam'. After a series of successful films as music director, he entered playback singing with the film Aashiq Banaya Aapne, the songs of which went on to become hits. As a singer, he churned out songs like Tera Suroor, Zara Jhoom Jhoom and Tanhaiyan which were successful.He started his acting career with his debut film, Aap Kaa Surroor - The Real Luv Story. He has given music for more than 80 films with many more in his kitty. He is the Captain of the Indian singers in SurKshetra
