While learning just one dance form is a task for many of our contestants, this week’s challenge pushed the difficulty level a bit higher for them. With the East meets West theme, they need to present a fusion of two dance styles. Our Wild card entrant, Rithvik Dhanjani who has already impressed our Judges with his power-packed performances opted to perform on a mix of MJ and semi-classical. Trying something different this week, this duo will start their act backstage and use the set as an whole for their performance before coming onstage.
We caught him off the stage to ask him what he’s going through. Commenting on this MJ tribute, Rithvik said, “Learning the steps is not difficult, it’s the groove, the style which is tough to learn and since its MJ, I really want a this is it from Remo sir” Rithvik, in fact, revealed that he had been suffering from sleepless nights because he knew that he needed to get MJ’s performance and attitude just right. Obviously his job gets tougher because he know that the biggest MJ Fan would be judging every single move of his! Yes, it’s none other than our Gabbar, Remo D’souza who is a diehard Remo Fan and even wears a MJ band around his arm.
But then, he totally rocked it! Remo and Madhuri joined the emotional Rithvik on stage and Remo even doubled up in his idol’s avatar with Rithvik as the duo brought MJ alive on stage, not once but twice! Way to go, Rithvik J
