Episode 12 Ayesha

The theme for the this episode was Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan vs. Mohd. Rafi. The Indian Surandaaz would sing Nusrat's sahab's songs whereas the Pakistani Jaanbaaz would recreate Mohd. Rafi's magic. 

The jury Episode 12

Ayesha Takia gave the bad news that Asha Bhosle would be absent for a few episodes. A new jury, comprising of Ghulam Ali Saheb, Ismail Darbar and Suresh Wadkar was present to judge the contestants, along with Abida Parveen and Runa Laila.

Nadeem Abbas Episode 12

Nadeem Abbas sang 'Akele Hai' which got a 10 from everyone except Runa Laila. She thought that his sur were a little off and the feel was missing. But the other judges were surely impressed.Watch his performance here.

Indrani Bhattacharjee Episode 12

After a lot of thought, Himesh called Indrani as the first performer and she sang 'Akhiyan Nu Chain Na Aave'. But this backfired as Indrani was unanimously panned and she got a 0. The jury said that this song was beyond her mettle, leaving her disheartened.Watch the performance here! 

Imraan Ali Episode 12

Imraan set the mood with 'Aaj Mausam Bada Beimaan Hai'. All the judges loved the way he enjoyed the song. Ismail Darbar and Suresh Wadkar gave some inputs but Imraan got a perfect 50!Watch Imraan's fun performance here! 

Yashraaj Kapill Episode 12

This was the highlight of the evening! Yashraaj sang 'Tere Bin Rogi Hoye Pyaase Nain'. He got a hug from both Himesh and Ismail, and the judges couldn't stop raving about his perfect performance. Runa Laila raved 'Maar Daala'Watch Yashraaj's awesome performance here! 

Sara Raza Khan Episode 12

Atif Aslam used his trump card, Sara Raza Khan, who sang 'Abhi Na Jao Chhodkar' which even Himesh praised. But Runa Laila said she could have done better and gave her a 0. But the others loved it, taking Sara's score to 40.Watch Sara sing here! 

Budhaditya Episode 12

The ever dependable Budhaditya was in form again as he sang 'Tere Bina Jiya Jaaye Na' which impressed Atif. Even the judges appreciated him singing such a difficult song, and Budha walked away with a perfrct 50!Watch his impressive performance here. 

Ameer Ali Episode 12

We guess this was a day to impress as Ameer won hearts with his 'Kahin Ab Na Jaa'. Himesh, his biggest critic, said that he had improved while Atif got up and hugged him. Ameer was overwhelmed and said that he had been waiting for this. Plus he got a perfect score!

Aman Trikha Episode 12

Aman Trikha is on a roll! He sang 'Tere Bina Jiya Mora' which everyone raved about. Ismail Darbar was so impressed that he promised to make him sing someday. Runa Laila loved his harkatein. Needless to say, he got a perfect score!Watch Aman in action here! 

Nabeel Shaukat Episode 12

Nabeel sang 'Chahunga Main Tujhe' which was appreciated by the judges and after Diljaan's performance, his score was announced and it was a 50! This took him straight to the face off round.

Diljaan Episode 12

Diljaan mastered a difficult song when he sang 'Saawan Ki Bheegi Raaton Main'. Atif complimented him saying that this was not an easy song. Himesh gushed over the performance, and the looks like the jury agreed, because he got a perfect 50!Watch Diljaan perform here. 

Diljaan, Ayesha, Mulazim and Nabeel Episode 12

Then came the face off round. Atif chose Mulazim and he gave his best performance till date which stunned everyone. Diljaan sang 'Aj Hona Deedar Mahi Da' and Nabeel showed his talent with 'Nahi Jaana Pardes'. Watch the performances and tell us who you liked! 

Mulazim and Sara Episode 12

The jury unanimously decides that Mulazim was best suited for the finalist's chair, making him the second Pakistani finalist. The Jaanbaaz and Atif were super excited and all of them hugged and congratulated Mulazim.

Indrani Bhattacharjee Episode 12

It was the moment of truth for the Indian team as Himesh had to make the decision of eliminating Indrani. Indrani wanted to sing one last time and the entire Indian team sang with her. Was a sad moment indeed.Watch Indrani's SurKshetra journey here!
